Being a technology enthusiast and also having an extensive I.T career, when I refer to specific topics or types of situations or solutions within my content, there may be times when I expand further on topics by giving you different perspectives of how something may affect you as an individual or provide a perspective from an organisational point of view.
In my mind, there are a lot of organisation specific information or topics that can also be applied to the individual in their day to day (Personal) lives. Cyber Security, I think, is seen and interpreted by many as an organisational or business issue, but this isn’t factually accurate.
Various Cyber Security / Cyber Safety topics and their sub domains can impact each of us personally in varying degrees also, not just the organisation or business that you work for or own. The line is somewhat blurred.
We all experience and perceive our own realities in different ways from each other. There will be a lot of common ground where people can come together and provide their experiences, so whilst some people reading my content may disagree with me, this is entirely normal and no one is really right or wrong unless the common information is factually incorrect.
I will do my best to steer you towards external resources and references wherever possible. If I’ve provided content that you believe is factually incorrect, I would love to discuss this with you, after all, I don’t want to be responsible for a poor experience and ultimately I won’t be right all the time as I am also learning, no one is right all of the time.
